Cherisse Francis
Cherisse is the Judicial Law Clerk for Belize's designated Trafficking in Persons Supreme Court Justice Antoinette Moore. She is a qualified attorney at law from the island of Barbados and was previously the Analysis, Coordination and Human Rights Intern for the United Nations Resident Coordinator’s Office for Barbados and the OECS. She has been actively involved in advocacy, youth development and human rights education for a number of years. Cherisse holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus and a Masters of Law in Human Rights and Criminal Justice from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. She also obtained her Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School, Trinidad and Tobago. Cherisse currently resides in Belmopan, Belize.
