Meaghan Newkirk
Meaghan is a third-year student at Duke Law. She attended Cornell University and majored in Classics, after which she worked as a paralegal at a plaintiff-side litigation firm. After her first year of law school, Meaghan interned with the Charity & Security Network and took classes at the Duke-Geneva Institute. Last summer, Meaghan was a summer associate at Williams & Connolly. At Duke, she works with the International Human Rights Clinic. Meaghan hopes to work with an international non-governmental organization to develop strategic impact litigation around human rights as well as policy.
