Sydney Reed is in her second year at The George Washington University Law School, where she serves as a staff member of the GW International Law Review, a member of the Alternative Disputes Resolution Board, and is involved in the International Law Society and Human Rights Law Society. Prior to attending law school, Sydney worked in the United States Senate for two years as a legislative staffer, and this past summer served as a Student Trainee-Policy Analyst at the U.S. Trade Representative. Sydney graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Richmond with a B.A. in Political Science and International Studies, and during undergraduate studies, spent a summer researching the trafficking of girls and women into foreign terrorist organizations, their roles in such organizations, and the efforts to reintegrate victims into their communities. In her free time, you can find Sydney reading historical fiction, watching baking shows, and taking her dog, Fiona, on walks around DC.
