DIRECTOR OF STRATEGIC ENGAGEMENT

As Director of Strategic Engagement, Lindsey leads HTI’s Strategic Engagement program, including authorship of the Federal Human Trafficking Report (FHTR), strategic training, and the Frederick Douglass Fellowship. As the lead author and architect of the FHTR, Lindsey oversees the collection and analysis of data extracted from federal human trafficking cases filed in the federal court system each year, as well as briefs government agencies and key stakeholders on the findings and emerging trends from the data to help improve the federal response to human trafficking.

Law Enforcement Advisor

Position Location: US – Texas | Date: February 2025 | Position Type: Full-time

The Law Enforcement Advisor-Texas (LEA-TX) will play a significant role in the development and implementation of HTI’s model in Texas. The LEA-TX will work alongside HTI’s State Director and Texas team to enhance investigations and prosecutions of human trafficking and child exploitation cases in partnership with state and local governments. The LEA-TX will develop and maintain relationships with government and non-government officials, support investigative units, conduct assessments, and provide training and mentorship to local law enforcement and other criminal justice stakeholders on human trafficking and child exploitation investigative best practices.
